If you’re new to driving The Toll Roads or need a quick refresher on how to pay a toll, resolve a violation or sign up for a FasTrak® account with us, we’ve got you covered!
The Toll Roads, State Routes 73, 133, 241 and 261, are operated by the Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) in Orange County, California. All tolls on the roads are collected electronically – if you don’t have a FasTrak account, paying online at TheTollRoads.com is easy.
What Is FasTrak?
FasTrak is the electronic toll collection system used on tolled bridges, express lanes and roads in California. It allows drivers to pay tolls electronically without having to stop at toll booths. Drivers can sign up for an account with The Toll Roads or with the agency that operates the toll facility you use the most.
Pay Tolls Online
No account, no problem! You can pay tolls online easily without an account within 5 days of driving the roads. To pay, all you need is your license plate number and payment method – our system can automatically calculate the tolls you owe. Just remember – it may take up to 48 hours for these transactions to post, so if you pay online within the first 48 hours, we recommend checking back or leaving a card on file temporarily to avoid receiving a violation. Drivers without an account may pay higher tolls. View our latest toll rates here.
Toll Violations
If you received a violation in the mail – don’t panic. If it’s your first time driving the roads without paying in 5 days, simply follow the instructions on the notice to pay the toll only (without fees). If you receive a text message about an outstanding toll violation, it is not from The Toll Roads. Nationwide text phishing scams use fraudulent text messages to dupe recipients into giving away their personal information.

Opening an account with The Toll Roads has never been easier. With a variety of different payment options for every type of driver, from the daily commuter to the infrequent visitor, having an account is the easiest way to pay tolls. Accounts with The Toll Roads have no monthly fees.
